Cycling Holidays in Albania
local guide assistance customisable all year round
THE PERFECT CROSSROADS OF HISTORY, CULTURE, STUNNING SCENERY AND AMAZING FOOD. BIKING is THE PERFECT WAY TO SEE THIS UNDISCOVERED GEM.
We organize cycling tours using roads that are all sealed and have a good surface, some being totally new. There are a couple of harder days on the tours but the support vehicle allows you to do as much cycling as you wish. Choose which bits you want to ride; get a lift to the top of the hill and cycle down the valley if it suits you. A support vehicle is always available to help you, and you will always have your guides with you at all times. If you feel safer with a cycling guide that will ride with along the tour, we are happy to say that we arrange professional guides assistance who know the area initially.
We love tours that combine hotels with guesthouses and can put together unique itineraries riding from the remote, snow capped mountains in the north, to the glittering Mediterranean beaches along the coast, and the terraced hillside olive orchards in between. Because some people can’t imagine going on a trip without their own beloved bicycle, we do not provide them as part of this tour. However, you are able to hire bikes locally for the price listed on the front page of this document. The bikes are Ideal bikes with lightweight alloy frames, 27-speed Shimano gearing, disc brakes and front suspension. If you bring your own bike, please make sure it is in good mechanical order.
Cycling Tours in Albania can be just for you and your partner, friends or family, or perhaps a group from your local walking club. Just pick the dates and destination, and we’ll do the rest!
